Southwind Adventures
offers travel insurance through Travel Insured International. You have the
option of purchasing travel insurance coverage with Travel Insured
International or an insurance company or your choice. Either way, Southwind
requires that a Travel Insurance Waiver be completed and returned to our
office.
The Travel Insured Worldwide Trip Protector policy may be purchased until the day prior to your departure. It is an age-rated plan. An application is mailed to you upon receipt of your deposit or you may click here to view the details of this coverage and/or to purchase online (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or check). The plan includes a provision to waive the exclusion for Pre-Existing Conditions if you purchase the coverage within 14 days of your initial trip deposit, protect the full non-refundable cost of your trip, you are not disabled from travel at the time you pay the plan cost and this is the first and only booking for this same destination and dates of travel. Along with various upgrades to customize your protection depending upon your needs, Travel Insured has also added the following benefits at no extra charge: Identity Theft Assistance, Concierge Services, Kids are Free, and Pet Care. Other benefits may apply. NOTE: Travel Insured offers several types of coverage. We strongly encourage one of the Comprehensive Plans for all Southwind trips because of the Trip Cancellation benefit.
