TRAVEL DISCOUNTS

Discounts are applicable for all Southwind Adventures' (SWA) scheduled departures listed on this website except those including Galápagos & Amazon cruises, special tours or custom trips (unless indicated otherwise). All discounts are calculated on the largest published group size of the trip toward which they are being applied. Small group surcharges (i.e., the difference in land cost between one tier of prices and the next), single supplement fees, extension costs, gear rental or extra services are not eligible for discounts. Discounts are not combinable nor can they be used in conjunction with other promotional offers unless specified. Discounts are applicable for new reservations only and are subject to change at SWA's discretion.

Early Sign-up Discounts
Save 4% to 10% per person from your Land Cost when deposit is recieved the same number of months respectively prior to the trip's departure date (e.g. sign up 7 months in advance and receive a 7% discount). Maximum discount is 10% for trips booked 10 or more months in advance.

Group Discount
5% per person is deducted from the Land Cost of your trip for any party of four (4) or more booking at the same time and traveling together on one of SWA's scheduled adventures (not private trips).

Child Discount
10% discount available for children age 11 and under traveling with their parent(s) or other adult family members on any SWA trip (scheduled or custom). Special children's discounts may be available on Galápagos or Amazon cruises or for airline tickets.

Special Offer!
In an effort to ensure that our clients are well protected, Southwind will cover 20% of your total insurance premium with Travel Insured International (TII) if purchased within 21 days of making your trip deposit. The amount will be credited on your trip invoice. You can choose your preferred plan from TII according to the type of coverage you want and your budget. Offer is valid for new reservations only starting January 01 and is valid for bookings through Mar 31, 2012.

Alumni Discount
The discount percentage below applies if your next SWA adventure is one of our published tours on our website. The discount is based on the number of previous trips you have taken with SWA. Private trips do not qualify for the Alumni discount, but they do accrue savings towards a future published trip. If you choose a private trip, we will work with you to design a custom itinerary to match your budget, preferred travel dates and interest.
