The M/V Legend features 56 cabins on four decks including 18 balcony suites for up to 100 passengers. This boutique expedition ship was fully refurbished in 2017 and recently renovated. With 7,244 ft² (673 m²) of common areas, open decks and cabins, Legend provides one of the largest areas of exterior space to relax among all vessels sailing the Galápagos Islands.

What sets this ship apart are ample social areas (sun terrace, observatory deck, pool, kid’s corner with games and mini-cinema, library, boutique, snorkeling equipment room, marine museum, lecture rooms and a full auditorium for daily chats and visual presentations led with onboard naturalists, hammocks, pool and sunbeds, two Jacuzzis, and a fitness & wellness center offering a sauna and massages). Legend is also equipped with a glass bottom boat for viewing marine animals and transparent kayaks.

There are Wi-Fi zones with internet service and yoga lessons available onboard. A new Naturalist Science Center allows passengers to gain further insight into the wonder of the Galápagos Islands.

Specially designed itineraries create life-enriching experiences among 40 visitor sites on 14 islands, exploring on land and snorkel with vibrant marine life in small groups with expert Naturalist Guides. The onboard Cruise Director, Expedition Leader and Doctor are ready to assist 24 hours a day.

The M/V Legend is small enough to ensure a peaceful and personalized experience, yet has all the amenities of a larger ship. Balcony Suites have private balconies and panoramic windows to take in the vast landscape from the privacy of your own fresh air sitting area. Junior Suites feature ten feet of panoramic windows to enjoy the scenery and some suites connect by an internal door for families. Eco-friendly practices, continual improvement of services and on-board security rank this vessel in the top tier of Galápagos ships.

Cozy interiors feature teak wood details, the freshly designed Lonesome Restaurant serves tasty local and international cuisine while the al fresco grill on the Moon Deck serves up morning meals, comfortable evening dining and stargazing. The Panorama Lounge Bar on the Sky Deck has panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with access to the pool and outdoor bar.

All cabins feature updated furniture, private bathrooms with organic amenities, housekeeping 3 times a day, turn down service, A/C, LCD television, music, safety deposit box, 110/220 volt electrical outlets, and a telephone (local and international satellite telephone service is offered). In addition, drying machines are available for complimentary use. The variety of accommodations including double, triple and quadruple staterooms are ideal for couples, group of friends and families.
