Custom Treks

Among the most popular of our private adventures are custom treks. Any of our scheduled treks can be operated privately on requested dates or we can follow a more off-the-beaten-path and demanding route such as the trips listed below. Custom treks require a minimum of 4 participants traveling together.

 

PERU

Urubamba Weaver's Route
Trekking the trails of the Urubamba Range is a walk back in time. This region is populated with scattered Quechua communities, enclaves of traditional culture that have, thus far, escaped the encroachment of modern society. Like the rugged peaks, in whose shadows they live, these gentle, hard-working people form the backbone of this country. Vilcabamba Exploratory

Blanca Panorama Trek

PATAGONIA

Paine Circuit Trek
Parque Nacional Torres del Paine offers what many feel is South America’s best hiking experience. The circuit, selected as one of “The World’s 10 Classic Treks” by Outside Magazine (March 2001), is a challenging trek around the principal range featuring some of the most dramatic scenery in South America — dense beech forests, pristine meadows, and multi-hued lakes fed by glaciers fingering down from the only Continental Ice Cap outside of the poles. The solitary region supports abundant wildlife — guanaco, ñandú, fox and puma plus numerous species of birds including flamingos, ibises, Magellanic woodpeckers and condors.
